This is the final story and number 3 of “The Carthage Chronicles” series by this author. This book picks up 13 years later present time, which would be 1 day in Carthage-after book 2 left us hanging.

Valley Of Decision mostly follows the story of Maggie who is Lisbeth’s daughter.

Like book 2, I had a hard time following the story line because I missed reading book 1 and getting to know all the characters. I like reading historical fiction, but this series also involves time travel which I’m not really into. I was hoping to like this final book more than book 2 because this series has alot of great reviews, but it’s not something that kept my interest.

If you like time travel and historical fiction with lots of rich details; you would probably enjoy this series! I would recommend reading all three books in order.
