March 4 – 10 workouts: Race Training for #brm26pt2 #runblueridge #triadventuremultisport

I’m currently training for my 10k race up Mill Mountain in April as part of the Blue Ridge Marathon race series; along with training for a 4 mile obstacle course family run at Claytor Lake.

This will be my second time doing the Blue Ridge Marathon race series and my first time doing the Claytor Lake obstacle course. I will be focusing on strength, stamina, and training up and down hills.

**If you are interested in participating in either race, go to the end of my blog post to get links and PROMO CODES!**

I was really happy that I did some of Mill Mountain this week to train for my upcoming 10k. I was also happy to get to the gym to work on more strength training for my obstacle race. Hoping the weather starts warming up soon so I can take some of my training and walks outside.

I love teaching my weekly “Walk15” Walk Strong Roanoke group fitness classes. I love teaching and I love keeping myself accountable to my group. I work so much hard (and burn more calories!) when I’m working out with a group!
