I was so excited to find another Sadie Cozy Culinary Mystery-especially a Christmas one! This story joins Sadie, Pete and their family 5 years after book 12 and their wedding. Sadie loves solving mysteries and when her friend’s antique Christmas ornaments go missing, she can’t resist jumping in to solve the mystery before her friend finds out.
Sadie is such a wonderful, kind, loving character. I especially loved reading about her Mrs. Claus adventure at the mall and her times spent in the nursing home with her dying friend.
Wonderful characters, mystery, love, forgiveness, and Christmas traditions and memories all wrapped into this sweet Christmas book. I highly recommend this book, especially if you’ve read the other Cozy Culinary Mystery books. I really enjoyed reading it and love the recipes included in the book too.
