My Review

Another thrilling, fast paced suspense story by author Dana Mentink that will keep you on the edge of your seat the entire time!

I loved the k-9 element to this story along with the twists, excitement and non stop action. I found myself holding my breath and glued to each chapter from beginning to end. The characters were relatable and engaging with some clean, light romance. Once you start reading, you won’t want to stop!

What a challenge to write the eighth book in this fabulous Pacific Northwest K-9 Unit series! Writing a continuity (linked books with an overarching mystery) with seven other authors requires us to work closely together which is a rare blessing in this solitary business. There were so many good conversations, emails and texts that went into the construction of this series. Since wilderness escape novels are my favorite, it was great fun to write Tanner, Mara and Boxer Britta’s dramatic survival story.
