My Review:

This sweet heartwarming story is book 2 in the Golden, Georgia romance series. they can be read as standalone books.

Single mom Addie and her son Jacob are adjusting to the death of their husband/father and move back to her hometown to be near family. Addie’s late husband’s best friend Nolan comes to visit them after a baseball injury puts him on the sidelines.

Addie and Nolan‘s friendship continues to grow as they work together to open a local fitness center and help Jacobs baseball team.

As a single mom, fitness, instructor, and sports mom; I could definitely relate to Addie’s life, financial struggles etc. The characters were interesting and fun and I enjoyed reading this story from beginning to end.

Nolan has to decide what he’s going to do with his future and baseball. And Addie has to decide if she wants to take a chance at love again or if they should just stay friends.

Great storyline about family, second chances and love. I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book. All opinions and views expressed are my own.
