My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I loved reading this book which is book 5 in the Canine Defense series. Easy to read with lots of suspense and drama. I loved the K-9 dog elements in this story.

Brandi inherits a home in New Orleans, Louisiana from a grandmother she never knew existed. She travels to the tiny community of Belle Chasse along the Mississippi River where she meets her neighbor Isaac and his canine dog Dakota.

After several attempts on her life, she begins to question whether her Florida stalker Ricky has found her or if it’s related to her grandmother and inheritance of the house.

Clean suspense and great storyline and characters. I can’t wait to read book 6 in the canine defense series about Brandee‘s brother Bryson.

I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book. All opinions and views expressed are my own.
