Discovering Sophie by Cindy Roland Anderson
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
Discovering Sophie is about a girl who goes to the jungles of Costa Rica to try to find her missing father. She hires a man, Jack who is familiar with the area but who reluctantly helps because he doesn’t want to get involved with her or have a woman slow him down. Along the way they discover lots of adventure, misfortune, drama and some romance.
It was GREAT, clean reading! I would highly recommend this book. I have read other books by this author as well and they are all well written, dramatic and funny.

Temporary Bridesmaid by LuAnn Brobst Staheli
My rating: 3 of 5 stars
Temporary Bridesmaid follows the story of middle 30s Jenny who has yet to find a husband, and whats worse is that all her close friends are either married or engaged. I liked the story line, as well as the extra story line that followed Jenny’s friend Stephanie and her disastrous marriage.
This was a clean, christian, romance book.
I’m giving this review less stars than usual, because I felt like at times Jenny was a little dramatic for her age but I guess the stress of her life responsibilities was getting to her. I also felt like the book was a little rushed at the end because the majority of the book had alot of daily detail in it.
It was still a good book and I would be interested in reading more books by this author, especially with the other friends mentioned in this book.

Ring on Her Finger by Lisa Swinton
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
Amanda finds herself married to a man she’s despised for years after a wild night at vegas. Or does she?
I read most of this book in one night because I wanted to know how the story would end. Would Amanda and Blake end up together? The family dynamics on both sides were well written, and the drama and love/hate feelings back and forth seemed very real.
The only thing I didn’t like was that I felt Amanda’s non forgiving, stubborn attitude was a little over the top.
Romantic, clean book with some sexual innuendos but no sex. Great book!

Risking it all for Love by Kimberley Montpetit
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
Jessica decided to go back to her family and home for Christmas after being gone for 3 years. She had to face painful memories of her past relationship and had to learn to free herself from the guilt so she could move on to find love and happiness. Jessica was able to find healing thru her dancing, family, and returning to her faith in God.
Book had mild language. I would consider “Risking it all for Love” as christian, romantic fiction. Sweet story!
