While I was also looking around the website, I noticed a section called “Happy Wellness Webinars“. They have a couple coming up in April and May that look really interesting. They also have all their past webinars listed as well. As far as I can tell, they are all free!

I listened to the 44 minute youtube Vega webinar called “Weight Management For The Athlete” with Kim McDevitt. It was easy to listen to and they had several power point slides making it easy to follow along and take notes. I learned alot about a Plant based diet.

Loop Resistance Bands **Large 14″ x 3″ Design Set of 5 (3-35 LBS)** by Live Infinitely

This set of 5 bands came from Amazon in individual plastic sleeves and a black carry bag. Once you take them out of the plastic, they are ready to use with no odor!

I love that these bands by Live Infinitely are long and wide which means they don’t bunch or curl up when I’m using them on my thighs. I also like that they are labeled with what strength they are, which makes it really easy to switch up bands depending on what exercises I am doing.

Typically I use the light, medium and heavy for my loop band exercises.

Not Always Happenstance (Power of the Matchmaker) by Rachael Anderson

“The Power of the Matchmaker” series is a 12 book series, with one book releasing each month during 2016. They are all stand alone books, but they do all include the matchmaker, Pearl, who isn’t restricted by time boundaries. Pearl is introduced in the prequel novella matchmaker series book.

The story starts out with introducing the male character of the story-Easton, who loves to travel and who takes companionship from women and then leaves without saying goodbye. He uses the women for their travel knowledge to write his travel blog as he visits different areas around the world. He doesn’t like staying in one place for very long and doesn’t like commitments or saying goodbyes. I immediately disliked him.

Chapter 2 introduces Lani who is currently living in Hawaii to help her grandmother with her Bed and Breakfast, instead of living in California close to her fiancee. Lani has been in Hawaii for over 2 years now and has made it her home and loves the people, but her fiancee wants her to make a decision and move back home.

Easton comes to stay at the Bed and Breakfast but is very secretive as to why hes there but makes it clear he wants to get to know Lani better.

I love that Lani is very straightforward with Easton and tells him that she is not a vacation fling to be used and then cast aside without a goodbye.

As the story progresses, I grew to like Eason better. Lani’s grandmother and the mysterious Asian women Pearl seem to like him and try every chance they get to push the two of them together.

They both love adventure, exploring and finding joy in God’s creations and the outdoors. I was happy how the ending turned out, but didn’t feel it was very realistic to “real life”.

I enjoyed this clean, fun story and can’t wait to read more “Power of the Matchmaker” books this year!

The Feisty One (Billionaire Bride Pact) by Cami Checketts

I really liked the last 2 Billionaire Bride books and this one was just as good if not more so! I love that this series of books are based off a girls camp promise of marrying billionaires when they get older or they have to sing the old camp song at their wedding.

Maryn is trying to do an interview with billionaire recluse Tucker, but runs into trouble with wildlife and weather while visiting his enormous log cabin.

I really like her big, feisty personality and how she treats Tucker and his friends. She was very respectful of his personal life and what stories he wanted to share even though she was there for an exclusive story.

“The Feisty One” is a great romantic story that has a good pace and clean story line. The characters had me laughing and sighing. Another winner for the Billionaire Bride Pact series and I can’t wait to read more!
