I really liked the main character Sylvie as she struggles to raise her son as a single mom on a farm after the recent death of her husband. She offers Jimmy a job on her farm when he arrives in town, much to his mothers dismay. She was a wonderful, strong character who was not afraid of work or personal sacrifice.

I liked the funny interactions (and misunderstandings) between the two of them and the eye winking part throughout the book was hilarious!

I enjoyed reading about the farm, daily work, and the townspeople. Things are not always what they seem, as these characters find out during the book; and it took lots of forgiveness, understanding and faith to get them thru. I really enjoyed this story!

“Cold Case Connection” is part of the “Roughwater Ranch Cowboys” series and I liked this story the most! I have read the other two books in this series but they can be read as stand alone stories because they all focus on different characters and story line.

This story has full of danger, suspense and clean romance with great characters and a steady interesting plot. The characters and story line grabbed me right from the beginning and I didn’t put the book down until I had finished.

Helen and Sergio have both had losses in their life but they are determined to figure out who killed their friend/sister Fiona a couple years earlier. As they investigate further, their new case keeps intertwining with an old cold case; and they have to keep dodging bullets and attempts on their life as they get closer to the truth.

I absolutely loved reading this intense, suspenseful story and highly recommend! Once you start reading, you won’t want to stop!

WOW!! This was such a great book-I couldn’t put it down! The story had a good, steady, suspenseful plot with interesting characters and town. At times I thought I had the “bad guy” figured out but I was wrong and I definitely didn’t expect the ending.

I really liked Kyra and her dog Boo as they struggled to figure out what happened to her father when she returns to her hometown. She knows something bad has happened to her father-she just has to figure it out. The Sheriff was a great character too as he figures out how to be a single parent to a teenage girl, a working dad and Sheriff to a small town. The both had to come to terms with their losses and feelings of guilt and anger throughout this book.

I would love to read a follow up book about the lodge, town, maybe a bakery, and the friendship that developed between Kyra and Sheriff Shane. I absolutely loved this book! I read it in one day because I couldn’t stop reading-I had to know what was going to happen next! Clean suspense (nothing graphic) with lots of drama and intrigue. I definitely plan on keeping this book to read again!

MY REVIEW:
This was a fun book to read!
I liked Georgie and her spunk and determination to be successful as a woman mechanic. Even after she returns to her hometown to take care of her mother (who she doesn’t get along with) and has several mishaps with the local townspeople; she is still determined to help others and to make a difference. She runs into her old friend, police officer and single dad Mike but things don’t really go smoothly from the beginning.
I liked reading about Georgie and Mike’ past and current friendship as they worked together in the town and on old cars. I especially loved Georgie working with the local women to help empower and educate them on basic car maintenance. Both characters had past emotions to work thru and communication to help their friendship to move forward.
This was an easy story to read with great characters in a small town. There was clean romance and an element of drama and intrigue as Office Mike tried to figure out who was breaking and entering into local businesses in the area and to try and clean Georgie’s name.
I really enjoyed reading this book!

MY REVIEW:

This story was really fun to read! I liked the different characters and their individual stories of heartache, fear, love, rejection-and how their lives ended up intertwining together by the end.

Loved getting to know all the characters-Jett, Lexa, Ed, Chuck and Coral as the different chapters of the book focused on each one individual at a time. All the characters had different situations and issues to work on and push thru, and the author did a great job with expressing all the different emotions that I felt like I could relate to each one.

I have read other books by this author and I have enjoyed them, but I especially liked this one! The story line flowed and kept my interest from beginning to end with some drama and clean romance. Highly recommend!
