“Roping His Heart” (#2 of Destined for Love: Mansions Collection) by Jaclyn Hardy
Patrick finds an old mansion deed in his fathers office after his funeral. He decides to visit the property to decide what to do with it. Rachel isn’t happy to see the city stranger because she has had her hopes and dreams on buying the old mansion. She can’t deny the attraction she feels with Patrick but she’s heartbroken when he starts talking about keeping the mansion and renovating it. As they continue to spend time together, they both wonder if their current dreams are really worth holding on to.
This story is book 2 of the Destined for Love: Mansions Collection but they can all be read as stand alone books. I really liked it! Steady pace, cute story, clean romance!

About the Book:
The old mansion down the road from Rachel’s ranch has always been her escape. No one has lived there for years, and she dreams of owning it herself someday. So when she finds a handsome city guy walking around inside who claims to own the home, her world turns upside down.
Patrick’s career is just taking off in the city, and he couldn’t be happier. The news of his father’s passing brings a silver lining when he finds that he’s left with a large mansion in a small ranching town—the perfect place to expand his business.
But when Patrick meets the beautiful and fiery Rachel at the mansion, he begins to wonder if he made the right choice. Now he must decide if his business is worth going home to, or if he’s willing to leave his city life for the woman who has roped his heart.

About the Author
Jaclyn is an Idaho farm girl who grew up loving to read. She developed a love for writing as a senior in high school, when her dad jokingly said she was the next Dr. Seuss (not even close, but very sweet). She met her husband, Steve, at BYU, and they have six happy, crazy children who encourage her to keep writing. After owning a bookstore and running away to have adventures in Australia, they settled back down in their home in Utah. Jaclyn now spends her days herding her kids to various activities and trying to remember what she was supposed to do next. Her books include the Silver Script Novels—Ring of Truth, A Christmas Worth Billions, Fashioned for Love, Change in Harmony, and Another Chance for Love, Love in Return, and Waves of Hope; Roping His Heart; and Never Say Necklace.
