Lewis Gale Salem Half Marathon, 8k & kids race final info & what to pack #SalemVAHalf

The Salem Half Marathon will celebrate its third year this year. Its mission is to encourage people to get outside and get physically active. The race starts and finishes on Main Street, takes runners on a tour of Salem through neighborhoods, Roanoke College and the Roanoke River Greenway.

Friday Packet Pick-Up & On site Registration

Location: Salem Farmers Market: Friday, October 12 from 3:00-7:00 PM

• Packet Pick-up will be held at the Salem Farmers Market behind Olde Salem Brewing Company from 3:00-7:00 PM on Friday, October 12th under the big tent.

• We STRONGLY encourage runners to pick up their own race packet on Friday evening. It is important for runners to personally verify their data, but if you are unable to attend you may have someone pick-up for you as long as they have a copy of your driver’s license.

• On-site Registration Prices: LewisGale Half Marathon: $95; Virginia’s Blue Ridge 8K: $60; G&H Kids Fun Runs: $30

• Entry fees are non-refundable. Race numbers and entries cannot be transferred to another person. If you have signed up but want to switch to another race, you can switch to either race at any time including at the packet pick-up. There is no cost to switch races except the difference in price for races.
