The Rancher’s Redemption (Return of the Blackwell Brothers #3) by Melinda Curtis

The Rancher’s Redemption (Return of the Blackwell Brothers #3) by Melinda Curtis (released Oct 2018)

This was probably my least favorite brother of all the Blackwell brothers so far. Ben seemed too harsh and uncaring-it may be his attorney type personality.

The story line and main characters didn’t catch my interest like the other stories did in this series unfortunately. I still read it though and enjoyed hearing about the other town characters (like Pop, the Judge and Katie) and the Blackwell brothers continuing sagas as they try to figure out what happened to Big E and whether to keep the ranch in the family or to sell it.

I liked the small town girl Rachel and her strong character as a single mom and attorney for the town. Ben returns to town to fight against Rachel and to work out the water line disagreement between their two ranches.

Even though this story wasn’t my favorite, I am absolutely loving this series and can’t wait to read more!

I received a copy of this book complimentary for blog and social media review. All opinions are my own.

About the Book:
His family committed a terrible wrong
Ben Blackwell wants to make it right

The last time Ben saw Rachel Thompson was when her best friend left him at the altar. Now Rachel’s suing the Blackwells over river water rights. Rachel’s a triple threat—rancher, fellow attorney and single mom—and Ben’s plan to win in court hits a snag when mutual attraction blooms. If he divulges a long-held secret, will his family forgive him? Will Rachel?
