I am SO excited that I was selected to be a Blue Ridge Marathon race ambassador again this year! This will be my third year running the race. The first year I did the half marathon, last year I did the 10k and this year I plan on doing the 10k again.

The Blue Ridge Marathon Series was created by a non-profit known as Roanoke Outside Foundation whose mission is to make outdoor activity and environmental stewardship a core component of our region’s lifestyle by promoting a “conservation through recreation”
philosophy. All proceeds of the Blue Ridge Marathon go toward our main beneficiaries the Friends of the Blue Ridge Parkway or other local charitable organizations.
The Blue Ridge Marathon has THE MOST elevation change of any road race in the United States. This is how it gets it’s “toughest” road marathon status.
