ABOUT THE BOOK

I have read the other Amish fiction books in this series and previous characters are briefly mentioned in this story, but all of these books are standalone and can be read in any order.

Nicole and Jack are called in to help stop an Amish pregnant women and children kidnapping ring. Previously they had worked cases together and had been engaged, but due to a misunderstanding they had broken up and went their separate ways. Due to this, there was awkwardness at first, but I like how they worked through their feelings and differences to focus on the case at hand.

This story had lots of action and suspense with an easy to read story line and great characters. Neither characters were Amish but they worked closely with the Amish community and even had to go under cover, which I liked that element of the book.

I have really enjoyed reading this series by this specific author since I don’t typically read Amish fiction books.
