April fitness BINGO and Balance & Power Challenge 2024 week 1

Happy April 1st!! I have 2 fitness challenges for you this month! Back my popular demand are both the SPRING BINGO board and my Balance and Power challenge calendar.

You can do blackout (coverall the spaces) or do as many bingo lines as you want this month! There are 25 total spaces so you have time to do 1 each day plus a couple of rest days.

 

As we age we tend to lose our mobility and balance, which could lead to falls and broken bones. Which is why I am going to be helping you all month with a balance and power daily challenge!

The national institute of Aging suggests doing balance exercises as often as you can. Balance exercises aren’t about speed. Moving slowly and taking your time to hold each position is how you will work on your balance and see improvements.

I recommend holding each exercise up to 20 seconds and then switching to the other leg. Doing each specific exercise 6 to 10 times. Listen to your body and do the best you can!
