This morning was our last nutrition class (class number 6) partnered with the Virginia Cooperative Extension service that our local #noexcusemom group been offering the past 3 months in addition to our free workouts!
I’ve filled my 1 inch notebook with tons of handouts from them from every class. I’ve learned so much!
Today’s 30 min nutrition class was about food planning and food safety-regarding temperature and cross contamination. We got to make little fruit santas for our snack.
For our 30 min workout we did some cardio to warm up then strength training circuits with hand weights. According to my #fitbitchargehr we burned 204 cal in 27 mins. I’m not sure how accurate that reading is, since every time I do strength training my fitbit shows less calories burned than my polar heart rate monitor does.
