This Regency Christmas Collection contains 4 short stories, each about 5 or 6 long chapters. After reading the entire collection, I was trying to pick which one was my favorite to share for this review, however, I honestly enjoyed all of them!

The stories were long enough to have a good plot and to develop all the characters. I really enjoyed each individual Christmas story and I highly recommend this great Christmas Collection! Each story will leave you happy and joyful, especially if you’re a Christmas Holiday story fan like me!

Each regency time period story was well written and perfect to get you in the holiday spirit.

“Bringing Maggie Home” by Kim Vogel Sawyer

This book was very well written and kept me engaged from beginning to end. It was an emotional book to read with some very sad parts, but overall I liked it because it was realistic and hopeful.

The chapters go back and forth between present time and 70 years earlier when Hazel was a 10 year old girl. It is so heartbreaking that one accident could lead to 3 generations of heartbreak and misunderstanding.

When Hazel’s granddaughter Meghan finds out about her tragic past, she uses her cold case expertise to find the missing Maggie. I liked reading about the three women and how they tried to work on their relationships with each other and with God.

This story was about faith, forgiveness, love, and finding hope and healing. Highly recommend!
