My Fitness Recap for the last 2 weeks

I try to post my weekly exercise pictures to stay accountable and for those that are interested in my workouts.

Here are my workouts for the past 2 weeks. I tried a new fitness program called Evolution20 which I will do a separate blog post for later this week.

I enjoyed this clean, romantic novella with the main characters Meadow and Colin. Meadow and Colin knew each other from high school, but didn’t have very good memories of the other person. Many years later, they find themselves working side by side, but can they let go of the past, in hopes of having a future together?

It was a good story and had alot of great Christian elements and scriptures, however I felt like the romantic development was rushed and not realistic for the time frame. Sometimes I’ve found that problem with Novellas-the story line is rushed because its a short book. Regardless, it was a sweet story and I would recommend it for a quick afternoon read.

This yoga mat by Youphoria Yoga comes in 4 colors (pink, blue, green, black) for $27.99 on amazon. I ordered the pink so I wouldn’t have to share with my boys, but that didn’t seem to work. 😉

When I opened the plastic wrapped around the mat, I was pleased that there wasn’t any smells like they advertised. I am very sensitive to odors, so I appreciated being able to use my mat right away without having to wash it or air it out.

I love the length and thickness of this mat. It’s long enough to do all my yoga poses and stretches, and thick enough to protect my joints but not so thick I can’t move around easily.

I used it to do my 20 minute Yoga workout right away. I did find the surface a little slippery after using it for about 10 minutes, so I also ended up using my Youphoria towel over top my yoga mat to keep me from slipping. I had done a 30 minute workout before yoga, so I was pretty sweaty when I started using my yoga mat so that might have been the reason I was slipping.

I can’t wait to keep using this mat and I hope it will hold up for months to come like the durability suggests.

I have been using these products for several weeks now and really like them! I have thin, oily, hair so I only use the mask and conditioner 1-2 times per week.
