“Their Ranch Reunion” (Rocky Mountain Heroes) by Mindy Obenhaus

Their Ranch Reunion (Rocky Mountain Heroes) by Mindy Obenhaus

This is the first book in the Rocky Mountain Heroes series and is the first book that I have read by this author. I really enjoyed it!!

This story featured the Stephens family, Carly and her daughter Megan. Carly and Andrew use to be best friends (and dated!) in high school but drifted apart after college. Carly stayed home in the small Colorado town, married, had a child, and then became widowed. 20 years later Andrew comes home to start renovations on his Grandmothers Livie’s house which is next door to Carly’s bed and breakfast.

Carly was a great character who was very compassionate and giving towards everyone. I loved the small town feel where everyone helps everyone, especially in a crisis. I loved the chemistry and friendship between Carly and Andrew through out the story and how they worked together despite their differences.

I loved getting to know the Stephens family-the dad and his 5 boys. I hope there will be other stories in this series involving the brothers and the small town of Ouray. Romantic, feel good, christian fiction book-highly recommend!

I received a copy of this book complimentary for blog and social media review. All opinions are my own.

About the Book:
The Rancher Next Door
Single mom Carly Wagner is surprised to learn she’ll have to share ownership of the home she’s inherited with her first love—and first heartbreak—Andrew Stephens. The man who fled their tiny Western town is back and standing in the way of her dreams to expand her B and B. Now a successful businessman, Andrew has eight weeks to buy Carly out. But Carly’s too stubborn to persuade—and too beautiful to ignore. When fire ravages her inn and she and her daughter move in to their shared property, Andrew’s in over his head. Time is running out and Andrew must decide: leave and chase another deal…or stay and chase Carly’s heart.
