Welcome to week 6 of “The Great Walk 100 day Summer Challenge” from 7/3 – 7/9.
Remember: Our goal is to be consistent so even if you can’t do 100 days of walking in a row, do the best you can and listen to your body.
If you CAN do a walk every day, it is VERY important that you mix it up by doing gentle walks, longer walks, shorter walks, indoor walks, outdoor walks, etc.

Just finished Walk thru the Decades. Forgot how good the music is that you chose. I love the 50’s and 60’s and 70’s. I was singing, and if I didn’t live in an apartment complex, I would turn the music up. Love “Aint No Mountain High Enough,” and “Whip it.” I graduated in the 80’s, but love the 70’s music. Hope we can do another one of these in the future. Also, I don’t sweat like I used to. I drink lots of water. I think because maybe, I am in better shape. Hope you can stay cool today. Walk on!

July 8. Did a 2 mile gentle walk. Loved the music. It is the one outside in the fall. Going to do the one for the decades one of these days. I have lost 4 of the 5 lbs I had gained. Sometimes you just need to reset and focus again. I know you have lost more, Rachel. It is very obvious from watching utube videos. Keep up the good work. I would love to have a celebration walk party even if it is a video for everyone at the end of the 100 days. Just a suggestion. I know how busy you are with everything.

Today, I did what Amy, another challenge member, suggested, Biggest Loser Workout #4 and #1 on utube. Number 4 used the medicine ball for 15 minutes. Love finding out things from other walkers. 2 miles done today. Keep walking strong.

My workout was improve health senior fitness Dance workout 80 music. I did fabulous 50 1 mile walk. = 3 mile walk today.

Today, I started the morning off with a 2 mile walk with Jordon, a utube video. I later did the 10 medicine ball workout for seniors. Started one and stopped it because it was way to hard. I love the medicine ball. Wish I could find more senior medicine ball workouts. Keeping up with my 8,000 steps 4 times a week. Also, strength training 3 times a week. Glad you had a good time in Florida. Keep walking strong!
