Daily Balance and Power challenge for MAY for Active Agers and all ages!

Last week I started a daily BALANCE AND POWER challenge with my active agers. Every day is a different exercise, building up in difficulty throughout the month.

As we age we tend to lose our mobility and balance, which could lead to falls and broken bones. The national institute of Aging suggests doing balance exercises as often as you can. Balance exercises aren’t about speed. Moving slowly and taking your time to hold each position is how you will work on your balance and see improvements.

I recommend holding each exercise up to 20 seconds and then switching to the other leg. Doing each specific exercise 6 to 10 times. Listen to your body and do the best you can!
