Target for Abduction (Lone Star Defenders Book 4) by Virginia Vaughan

Single mom Sheriff Deena and her 4 yr old son Charlie now live with her mom after her brief marriage in Vegas, 5 years prior which ended in abandonment.

Imagine her surprise when FBI agent John and his team come into her town to investigate a child abduction ring and John has no memory of Deena or their brief marriage.

This fast-paced story was set in Mercy County, a small town in Texas that kept my interest from chapter to chapter until the very end. Deena and John pair up to try and figure out who’s abducting kids and why. And why is the sheriff and her son specifically being targeted?

Another awesome book from the Lone Star Defenders miniseries about second chances, love and forgiveness. Absolutely loved it! Once you start reading, you won’t want to stop!
