Vow of Justice (Blue Justice Book #4) by Lynette Eason
This story was fast paced and amazing from beginning to end! I couldn’t put the book down! I loved the main characters Allie and Linc as they worked together to take down a mob head and to find a killer before they kill again. I also liked the side story of Allie working on her personal case to find her family’s killer and her emotional and spiritual progression throughout the book to get rid of her anger and revenge from the past.

I have read the other books in the “Blue Justice” series so I enjoyed being able to read about the other St. John family characters and how their relationships have progressed over the books. They can be read as stand alone stories though since they each have their own story lines and main characters. I personally love to read series books in order because of the character development and progressions.

Lot of suspense, action, and clean romance-great Christian fiction book! I highly recommend reading this book and especially this series. I have probably read most, if not all of Lynette Eason’s books because she is an amazing, gifted author and I have greatly enjoyed her books and series.

I enjoyed reading this Amish religious fiction book that included some romance and lots of suspense! I really liked the main character Katie and her determination, courage, and strong conviction to help others-especially her family. Adam was also a great character as he struggled to discover himself as a person, forgive and forget the past, and protect those around him.

MY REVIEW:
I enjoyed this sweet romance story! I liked the main characters Brooke Ellis, Dan Sawyer, his son and the grandfather. The town and Dan’s family totally embraced Brooke and her pets after a wildfire came through and destroyed her town and home. I liked reading about Brooke’s healing after her husbands tragic accident and how her pets help her cope and how she helps pets cope after traumatic events as well.

I could totally relate to Dan’s frustrations and hesitations regarding his ex-wife, custody and his son’s medical issues. I loved how giving and accepting the Sawyer family was to strangers, friends and helping those in need.

Easy to read, great characters-loved it!

MY REVIEW:
The story alternates between WWII time to present day with the changes to the Henning Farm and society. In current day, Ben inherits the Henning family farm that has been in his family for generations and wants to turn it into a rescue horse farm/rehab center for people struggling with addictions. He meets Ashley, who also loves and works with rescue horses, to pitch his idea about the farm and that he feels God is leading him to do that kind of work.

Both characters have their personal struggles and similarity of struggles as they try to build a future without letting the past define them. I liked reading about the progress of the Horse Farm and Ben’s goals and determination to make it work so he could help others.

“Cross my heart” is book 2 in the “Legacy of Faith” series and covers hard topics like abuse and addiction. Clean Christian romance. I enjoyed reading this story which can be read as a stand alone book.

“A Love for Lizzie” by Tracey Lyons

I enjoyed reading this sweet, easy to read Amish romance story. I liked the main character Lizzie and her love for her family and Amish community even with her strained relationship with her dad. I loved reading about how the community comes together to help Lizzie’s family and farm after her father becomes ill. It really demonstrates how important community, family and values are to the Amish.

Lizzie and Paul were a great couple to read about and how they helped each other with their personal struggles and encouraging each other to follow their dreams and passions.

I really liked this book and would recommend this quick reading, love inspired Amish romance.
