“The Haunted Groom” by Karly Stratford *one day sale!*

The Haunted Groom by Karly Stratford

How much would you bet on first love this Christmas?

The generous and good-looking, Evan Cook, outside tackle for the Denver Storm, grew up in a bad part of Milwaukee where he did things he’d rather forget. His Christmas plans include starting a foundation to help kids get out of his old neighborhood. However, quarterback Will Kent throws a wrench in Evan’s plans with a bet. A bet for Evan to contact his first love, Anna Jordan, and try to win her back. To his surprise, Anna–now the hottest actress in Hollywood–agrees to help him with his foundation. Anna brings her feisty, ninja-like bodyguard along, and suddenly Evan has a problem.

The beautiful and tough, Henley Keaton only wants a drama-free Christmas. When Evan Cook calls Henley’s employer, to Milwaukee to help with some foundation, she’s overjoyed. She can avoid the yearly family fight and eat deep-fried-cheese-curds and relax for Christmas. But when Anna gets sick and forces Henley to go on a date with Evan Cook in her place, Henley’s plan begins to crumble. When Henley and Evan engage in a spirited duel of Shakespeare quotes, things get…complicated.

After tragedy strikes, and it looks like Evan’s haunted past is going to catch up with him, he must decide if he’s willing to walk away or let Christmas miracles come true.

Praise for The Haunted Groom

This was a great read! I loved the characters and I loved the story. This wasn’t just a strong boy saves helpless girl story. The boy is strong but the girl isn’t helpless. A great story of redemption and giving back! I loved it! ~Mariah S.

On Magnolia Lane (A Blue Ridge Romance) by Denise Hunter

On Magnolia Lane (A Blue Ridge Romance) by Denise Hunter

I really enjoyed this sweet story! Clean Christian romance with great characters and interesting plot. Daisy and Pastor Jack have been friends for years but Pastor Jack wants Daisy to see him as more than a friend and her Pastor. I loved reading about their friendship, chatting and dating adventures.

The story line kept my interest from beginning to end, with some family and small town drama through out. Another win for Denise Hunter and her Blue Ridge Romance series!

I received a copy of this book complimentary for blog and social media review. All opinions are my own.

About the Book:
Falling in love with Daisy was easy for Jack. But finding the courage to tell her becomes problematic when his secret feelings lead to even bigger complications.

After two years of counseling sessions with Daisy Pendleton, Pastor Jack McReady has earned a permanent spot in her life as a spiritual leader—and nothing more. Jack would never risk losing her trust by exposing the depths of his heart, but he’s hopelessly in love with her.

Daisy loves her southern small-town life and her job at her family-run flower shop, but she doesn’t have the thing she longs for most: someone to share it with. Her recent foray into online dating has been a disaster—until she meets TJ.

Jack could kill his friend Noah for using his initials and some indistinct photos to set up a profile on the dating app Daisy is using. But when he’s finally afforded the opportunity to show her a different side of himself, he’s sucked into the plan before he has time for second thoughts.

Online, Daisy shares some of her greatest fears with TJ, but in person, Jack and Daisy are spending more time together. When a devastating family secret surfaces, Daisy knows that only her trusted friend and counselor can bring her comfort. Jack wants nothing more than to be both men for Daisy, but revealing his secret will prove to be the ultimate test of Daisy’s grace.

“Wait For Me” Montana Rescue #6 by Susan May Warren

Wait for Me (Montana Rescue #6) by Susan May Warren

I have read all the books in this series and I am so sad to see it end. This book is absolutely amazing! Words cannot describe how I feel about these characters and the nonstop action in this book. I was on the edge of my seat from beginning to end.

They can be read as stand alone books, however, I’ve liked reading them in order for more character development and relationships. HIGHLY RECOMMEND this book and series!

About the Book:
Pete Brooks can’t believe he’s waited an entire year for Jess Tagg to return to Montana, only to have her break his heart by getting engaged to her ex-fiancé. Worse, a series of mistakes on the job have cost lives, and Pete isn’t sure he wants to continue to work in Search and Rescue. Maybe if he can just get over Jess, he can figure out how to move forward.

EMT Jess Tagg has returned to Montana to finally give her heart to Pete, but it seems he’s no longer interested. When a terrible fight between them sparks an impulsive decision, she finds herself crashed on the side of a highway along with Esme Shaw. And just when she thinks things couldn’t get any worse, she and Esme are taken captive and into the untamed Montana wilderness—with murderous intent.

Now Pete and the other PEAK Rescue Team members are in a race against time, the elements, and the actions of a vengeful man. Pete will have to use everything he’s learned to find Jess and Esme—and pray that his past mistakes don’t cost him the life of the woman he can’t stop loving.
