Tracking a Killer (Rocky Mountain K-9 Unit Book 6) by Elizabeth Goddard

Tracking a Killer (Rocky Mountain K-9 Unit Book 6) by Elizabeth Goddard

This love inspired suspense book had lots of action, suspense, and clean romance that I really enjoyed!

FBI Special Agent Wes and Police Officer Harlow, along with her canine dog Nell are traveling to different Rocky Mountains parks to find a serial killer before they strike again. Unfortunately Harlow meets the description of the other women with blonde hair and blue eyes and is immediately targeted.

I liked learning about what cadaver canine dogs do and how they help their police units. I love the element of working k9 dogs in this series.

I also liked the main characters Wes and Harlow and getting to know some of their team members. I liked seeing them mature and work together professionally while trying to get past what happened at the academy when they were younger.

I really enjoyed reading this thrilling book and highly recommend! I received a copy of this book complimentary for blog and social media review. All opinions are my own.

STRONG30 September fitness challenge #Strong30 #WalkStrongRoanoke

For the next 30 days of September we are going to work on becoming stronger…. Physically stronger, Emotionally stronger and Mentally stronger!

We are almost done with our summer 100 day walk challenge so a 20 min daily walk should be easy and hopefully part of your daily routine. If not, start tomorrow and make it a habit for the next 30 days.

Here are some Leslie Sansone heart healthy workouts that I love:

Journaling and having a grateful heart and mind will help us focus on the positive instead of the negative. I want to become a more positive and grateful person, don’t you?

Lastly, lets work on our mentally health by empowering and expanding our mind! Reading a good book, listening to a podcast, learning a new skill, taking an education class…whatever you want to do in as little as 5 mins a day will help!

I hope you will join me every day in September by focusing on these 3 things DAILY and I KNOW we will be stronger by the end of the month!

Comment below if you’re ready to become stronger this month with me!

My Review

This love inspired suspense story had it all! Lots of action, suspense, a damsel in distress, an adorable baby, and a handsome hero!

After Amy’s twin is murdered, she grabs her baby and runs to the only person she trusts-childhood friend Keith. Unfortunately, they are both keeping secrets from each other but throughout the book they learn that its better to be honest despite the hurt. They both have personal issues to work thru but they did a good job of working together and relying on God, forgiveness, family and love to help them.

Thrilling action from beginning to end with a great surprise ending! I really enjoyed this book!

About the Author

Sami A. Abrams lives in Northern California, but she’ll always be a Kansas girl at heart. She loves to travel and watch sports. However, most evenings, you’ll find her engrossed in a romantic suspense novel. She thinks a crime plus a little romance is the recipe for a great story.

More from Sami

#Authorproblems   That’s what the excitement around Keith Young was…a problem—Kinda. Lol!

When I started to hear request for his story, I panicked. Authors don’t want to disappoint their readers. And being new to the published scene…Well, you get the picture. 😊

After the release of Buried Cold Case Secrets, many readers told me they wanted Keith’s story. In fact, the overwhelming response puzzled me. What had I done to create such a buzz about Jason’s partner? And of course, I had to ask why?

The general answer I received…Keith’s a nice guy and the perfect partner.

I have to admit, I got a little nervous since I had already written his story. And I worried if I’d done his character justice?

However, after writing Buried Cold Case Secrets, I knew Keith had to have his own story. He’s such a great guy and needed his happily ever after. So, I dove in and asked, what would happen if he made a huge mistake? Not just a physical one, but a heart one.

By the time I finished, I loved seeing Keith and Amy move past their poor choices and hurt to find acceptance and love. The perfect ending to Keith’s struggles.

All that to say, I hope you love Keith and Amy’s story as much as I do.  #TeamKeith

MY REVIEW

This love inspired suspense story was awesome! I enjoyed the story line, characters and steady action from beginning to end. I liked getting to know the main characters Tara Jean (TJ) and officer Trace as they investigate their childhood town and attempt to break up a gang ring.

TJ and Trace have a past they have to work thru along with suspicious family members, grudges and learning about forgiveness. Even with dealing with personal issues, they were able to separate their business and personal relationship and worked well together to protect each other and their loved ones.

I also loved the secondary characters like Squirt, Bobby, Missy and Eva. Lots of action, drama and some light romance. I really enjoyed reading this book from start to finish. Highly recommend!
