“Too Loved to be Lost” Kindle HDX Giveaway and Facebook Party with @DeboraCoty!
“Too Loved to be Lost” is a wonderful, inspirational book by Debra Coty. It’s about “discovering God’s intentional, unconditional, without-limits love.” There are 24 chapters to this book/4 main sections and at the end of each chapter she asks questions and gives you room to write your notes in the book.
I love that it says right in chapter 1 that “God’s unconditional love is: Forever faithfulness. Limitless loyalty. Enduring allegiance, Eternal devotion. Spiritual security.” Isn’t that beautiful and so true?
She shares stories, examples and scriptures thru out the book. It’s a wonderful book that will make you laugh, but is also thought provoking and addresses life principles we should be following (like love, forgiveness and discernment).
This would make a great gift for a teacher, coworker, friend or yourself! I plan on keeping this book on my nightstand to read often!
About the book: In Too Loved to Be Lost (Barbour Books, October 2014), you’ll find simple, practical steps for healing, refreshment, and revitalization of spirit, body, and faith. Hemp heart seeds review for @manitobaharvest #hemphearts #sweatpink
I was sent a complimentary bag of Hemp Hearts for blog and social media review, because of my ambassadorship with #sweatpink. All opinions are my own.
At the ‘heart’ of all our hemp foods is the Hemp Heart (aka raw shelled hemp seed).
- Great tasting – Hemp Hearts have a slightly nutty taste, similar to a sunflower seed or pine nut.
- Easy to use – Simply sprinkle Hemp Hearts on salad, cereal & yogurt, add to smoothies and recipes, or eat them straight from the package!
- Nutritious – per 30 gram serving, Hemp Hearts contain 10 grams of plant-based protein and 10 grams of Omegas.
- Hemp Hearts have more protein and omegas and less carbs than the same serving of chia or flax.
Check out their website. You can get a free 7 days of smoothies ebook, coupons, and recipes!
I tried the hemp seeds in my morning fruit protein smoothie, as well as in my salad.
This was the first time I had tried them and they weren’t bad. You can’t really taste them. I don’t particularly care for the texture though-its like eating little seeds in my drink. Which I don’t like eating things with tiny seeds, so it wasn’t really something for me.
I would like to try this Pumpkin Pie Smoothie next though to see if I like the texture better.
Recipe found here:
http://manitobaharvest.com/recipes/10198/Pumpkin-Pie-Pro70-Smoothie.html
My husband really liked them so he will probably be the one using them until the bag runs out.
Have you ever tried Hemp seeds before?
If you want to try some, you can use my special code: HHSweatPink14 to get 20% off any purchase at ManitobaHarvest.com.

“THE PROMISE” book review and Kindle HDX Giveaway from @BethWiseman!
I stayed up last night to finish up “The Promise” because I just HAD to know how the book was going to end before going to bed. It took a chapter or two to get into the story, but once the setting and characters were introduced, the story line took off.
All Mallory wanted to do was to help save a life-to feel like she made a difference. She struggles through out the book with her relationships with her family and with her belief in God. She is so determined to fulfill an old promise, that she’s not smart or cautious in how she tries to help a family in Pakistan. Ultimately at the end of the book though, she recognizes who she can count on.
Clean, christian book with a very intriguing and romantic story line. VERY very good! Would highly recommend this book!! This is the first book I’ve read by this author.
About the book: Mallory’s search for happiness leads her to a faraway place. There she finds heartache, betrayal—and danger.
Mallory Hammond is determined that no one will stand in the way of her goal—to save a life. She had that chance years ago, and she failed to take it, leaving her adrift and in search of the real meaning of her life. Finally, she meets a man online from a volatile corner of the world who offers her the chance to find that purpose. But she will have to leave everyone she loves behind in order to take it.
Tate Webber has loved Mallory for many years. He understands that Mallory will never be happy with him until her deepest heart’s desire is satisfied. When Mallory decides to travel across the world to fulfill her dreams, Tate begs her not to go but tries to give her the space she needs. Mallory embarks on her dangerous journey only to discover how swiftly and easily promises can be broken. And Mallory can only pray that she will make it out alive.
Inspired by actual events, The Promise is a riveting love story that asks the question: how far will we go for love?
