MY REVIEW

As much as I enjoyed this specific time travel dramatic series, I was glad for it to come to an end. The more Stone kept going back in time to fix mistakes or to try to make the future better-he only made it worse again and again. It was heartbreaking at times. and should be a real life lesson to the rest of us that we should be looking towards the future and not always back at the past and what we wished we could change.

I loved the concept of this series and I definitely recommend reading the books all in order for it to make sense. I don’t usually read time travel books but I am a big fan of Susan May Warren’s books so I decided to give this series a try and I’ve loved it!

Lots of emotions and drama as the story unfolds again and again over the series of books. I liked the main characters Stone and Eve as their relationship progresses and changes. Good, clean Christian fiction series-highly recommend!

MY REVIEW

I don’t typically read Amish fiction anymore but I love this series and have read most of them now! This author has written 11 other Amish Country Justice romances, but they are all individual stories so you do not have to read them in any particular order.

I actually read this book in one night because I couldn’t put it down. There were some things that were predictable, other things that were not. Non stop action and running. I enjoyed getting to know the main character Christy and her daughter as they flee to Amish Country to find Sam, her former Amish husband. I liked reading about Sam, along with his siblings who are from previous books. I like the Amish community and their willingness to help others.

Clean Amish Christian fiction with a little bit of romance. Non-graphic violence. Great suspense, action and drama. Highly recommend this book and entire series.

MY REVIEW

I enjoyed reading this clean, new k9 suspense series from cover to cover. I liked getting to know all of the women in the Phoenix k9 agency and can’t wait to read about them and their dogs in future books. I love k9 service dog books!

One of the main characters, Cora, was extremely frustrating to me throughout the story though. She was extremely religious, very kind, willing to give everyone the benefit of the doubt numerous times, and to give people second chances.
But I found it frustrating and unrealistic that she would deal with drug dealers (who had weapons) like she could talk them down and make them change their ways just by being nice to them or by talking about Jesus. That’s a great way to get shot in my opinion and not very realistic.

She also carries alot of guilt throughout the book with feeling like she failed protecting her brother and raising him to follow Jesus; when in fact she needs to realize that people have free agency and you can’t force people to make good choices or to follow Jesus.

I really liked Kent and his ability to protect Cora and his drive and determination to break up the local drug dealer crew. He was a great, positive character even though he had struggles with guilt and a difficult upbringing.

Although I am critical of Cora‘s character and she wasn’t my favorite; I still enjoyed reading this book and can’t wait to read other books in the series. It had an interesting, suspenseful story line that kept my interest from beginning to end. I also read the prequel and really really enjoyed it!

MY REVIEW

I have read all of these books in the series and love them! I love the people in the Deep Haven community and reading about their different jobs, relationships and personalities.

The story started off a little slow but I liked all of the characters and how the story developed. I liked the element of Nick and Jae meeting online and their developing friendship online and then in person.

I also enjoyed reading about the dog sledding, the rescue operations with Deep Haven Crisis Response Team, and Korean culture and food.

Action, faith, clean romance, Deep Haven community… everything that makes a good story! I highly recommend this series-any of them! They can be read as stand alone stories.
