MY REVIEW

“Covert Danger” is book 2 in the Guardians Unleashed series. I really enjoyed this Phoenix k9 agency book-even better than the first one.

Amalia, Rocky and Michael are the main characters in this book. They find themselves running for their lives in this fast paced, action packed, clean suspense book. Amelia and Michael use to be friends a long time ago, but unfortunately Amelia has changed dramatically in regards to her faith in people and in God after some tragic betrayals in the CIA. Amalia, along with the whole protection team are trying to protect Michael, her childhood friend who is a well known news reporter.

Each woman in the protection unit has a specific trained dog to help with rescues, protection, bomb detection, etc. and it was really interesting to read about their different skill sets. I liked getting to know Bristol, Jazz, Nevaeh, Phoenix and of course Cora from book 1.

I really enjoyed reading this book and series and highly recommend this faith filled suspense book. I also liked that the author included an epilogue so we could continue reading about some of the characters and their relationships.
