“Their Alaskan Past” (Home to Owl Creek, 5) by Belle Calhoune

I enjoyed reading this sweet “Home to Owl Creek” story involving animal lovers Maya and Ace. This story was easy to read with interesting characters and story line that kept my interest from beginning to end.

I liked reading about Maya’s vet practice and her vision for a dog rescue facility. When Ace comes back into town, she knows he’s perfect for the job even though they have a previous history that didn’t end well. I loved reading about the dogs, taking care of rescues and the details behind opening a rescue shelter.

Both Maya and Ace were great characters full of love, selflessness, giving, and kind; although they had a hard time showing that to each other. I loved getting to know the town and townspeople and can’t wait to read more from Owl Creek! I really enjoyed this book!

Perilous Wilderness Escape (Love Inspired Suspense) by Rhonda Starnes

WOW this story was riveting from beginning to end! I highly recommend this fast paced, clean suspense book!

FBI agents Randy and Katherine are trying to break up a drug cartel when Randy is almost killed and gets amnesia. It was interesting to read what memories he remembered of his life and what he thought of his partner Katherine (not remembering exactly who she was).

I loved reading about their friendship and how it developed the more Randy got his memories back throughout the book. Lots of suspense, running from danger, and guessing who the “bad guy” was. I can’t say enough good things about this story. I read it in one day because I couldn’t stop reading.

Driving Force: An Elite Guardians Novel by Lynette Eason & Kate Angelo

Driving Force: An Elite Guardians Novel by Lynette Eason & Kate Angelo

MY REVIEW:
I really enjoyed this fast pace, clean, romantic suspense book. I loved getting to know the main characters Christina, Grey and his working dog “Boss”. As readers we also got to meet the Elite Guardians team like Laila, Charlie, and Lizzie.

It was so fascinating to read how they trained their dog “Boss” and all the ways he could help the military. Grey was such a strong, dynamic character and despite his handicap; still continued to do amazing things.

This story had lots of twists and turns and action as the characters try to figure out the serial killer, how and why the killer is hurting people, and what truth they are hiding. I especially liked that they included an epilogue of six months later so we could get a sneak peek into Christina and Greys relationship at the end. I highly recommend this book and can’t wait to read more in this series!

Not according to former Special Forces Air Commando GREY PARKER. He needs her help to protect his dog while he undergoes an experimental surgery that could restore his ability to walk. He just needs someone to keep his canine partner safe. Most of all, Grey wants back on his feet so he can track down a deranged scientist known as The Scavenger who unleashed a nerve agent that left Grey sidelined in a wheelchair.

Canyon Survival (Love Inspired Suspense) by Connie Queen

Canyon Survival (Love Inspired Suspense) by Connie Queen

My Review:
Set in Texas, former FBI agent Riggs finds an unknown woman and two young children running from danger on his ranch. Stormy/Annie gets amnesia from a fall at the beginning of the book and is running from danger with two young children who aren’t even hers.

This clean fiction story had lots of action and drama from beginning to end. Kidnapping and child trafficking are mentioned in this book in case that is a trigger for readers. I loved getting to know Annie, Riggs and the two kids. Highly recommend this fast paced, easy to read Love Inspired suspense book!
