MY REVIEW

I love a good holiday story! This was a Harlequin Romance book which meant there were some language and implied bedroom scenes but nothing graphic. I typically read clean fiction but the book description sounded interesting so I decided to give it a try.

The main characters Izzy and Zayn have history together but haven’t seen each other in over 5 years. They become reunited after the death of a loved one and throughout the book they try to communicate and figure out what went wrong years ago.

They both own wineries so there’s alot of alcohol mentioned in the book which I wasn’t thrilled about; but I liked reading about their business practices, differences and how they learned to work together. I especially loved reading about Izzy’s business holiday traditions and why she felt like they were important.

I enjoyed reading this sweet, romantic holiday story about love, forgiveness and starting over.

MY REVIEW

I really enjoyed this holiday story! It was easy to read and I loved all the characters in the book especially Natalie and Tanner. It was so funny how Natalie tried to tail Tanner without being too obvious on the train. What an amazing friend Natalie is!

The author was so descriptive with their adventures in Alaska-all the way down to the weather, the Moose escapade and snowshoeing.  I felt like I was there camping in the cabin with them! I loved how Tanner’s family embraced Natalie and all the family love and holiday spirit they shared through out the book. There was some light, clean romance towards the end but it wasn’t the focus of the story.

Highly recommend this fun, lighthearted holiday story which will definitely make you smile and laugh.

Grave Christmas Secrets (Love Inspired Suspense) by Sharee Stover

I LOVE “Love Inspired Suspense” books because they are easy and short to read, filled with great characters and suspense, and free from bad language and bedroom scenes. I have read other books by this author so I was really excited to read this one, especially a holiday story!

From the first chapter this story kept me on the edge of my seat and engaged with the characters and story line. Taya doesn’t know who to trust especially undercover ATF agent Keegan; but when they have to keep running for their lives, she’s forced to rely on him to keep her alive. As the story unfolds, more questions arise and the danger continue to escalate.

I highly recommend this clean, Christian romantic suspense that will keep you guessing to the very end and keep you reading long into the night.

“The Key to Love” by Betsy St. Amant

I enjoyed reading this clean, funny, romantic fiction story-although I wouldn’t consider it Christian fiction.

Both characters had relationship insecurities that made them sarcastic and quick to shut down before expressing their “real feelings” and emotions; but over time they were both able to talk and share which made them more relatable and likeable.

I’m glad Bri learned what the “key to love”, what “real love” was about from her family and friends and that is was not some big elaborate happily ever after-hard to achieve love.

This was a fun, light hearted story. The characters were good but not really a book I would read again because of their constant sarcastic nature.

I have been reading author Irene Hannon’s book for years and LOVE them! This was a captivating, clean, romantic suspense that I absolutely enjoyed reading! I can’t say enough good things about it!

The cover is beautiful, the characters are down to earth and engaging, the story line was unpredictable, and the suspense was steady and interesting was beginning to end. I would have read it in one night if I had enough time.

As a side note, I loved Eve’s two sisters and I’m hoping they will each get their own story as well.

Can’t wait to read more from this NEW “Triple Threat” series!
