Chasing Secrets (Elite Guardians) by Lynette Eason

Chasing Secrets (Elite Guardians) by Lynette Eason
Book 4 of 4 in the Elite Guardians Series

I have read all 4 books in this series and have enjoyed every single one of them! I love reading about strong, female leads in a book. The beginning of the story was very interesting and kept me intrigued from the first to the last page. Even though I read alot of Christian suspense books, the ending was not how I guessed it to be and was a surprise.

The story line pace was steady and the characters were easy to relate to and follow. I am a big fan of books by this author and I especially loved this series! I can’t wait to read her new Blue Justice series next year!

I highly recommend this author for clean, christian, highly suspenseful stories!

“The Search”by Clair M. Poulson *book review and giveaway*

I absolutely loved reading this book! It is a clean christian fiction with lots of suspense, drama and some romance. The story was written in the view of male private investigator Jayden. His dry sense of humor, especially about this service dog Bullet, was hysterical. Jayden is a private investigator and along with his highly trained and smart guard dog Bullet, they are hired to find a missing basketball coach and one of her players that have both gone missing.

There are alot of bad guys, blood, suspense and lots of action in this book. This story was very well written, kept my interest from beginning to end, loved the characters, and hope to see another book involving Jayden, Bullet and Nadia!

About the book:

Young private investigator Jayden Spaulding has cracked his share of tough cases, but nothing like this.
When stunning professional basketball player Nadia Fairchild walks through his door, her story seems simple enough: two days ago, her mother disappeared along with a member of the women’s college basketball team she coached. Jayden and Nadia delve into a baffling maze of motive and opportunity with a lengthy list of possible suspects.

As they work together amid their growing attraction to one another, the unlikely duo seems no closer to discovering the truth. Then the threats begin. Soon, the pair begins to suspect that this case is much more complicated than a simple disappearance—they have unwittingly stumbled on a conspiracy of corruption, greed, and murder deadlier than they ever imagined.

A Name Unknown (Shadows Over England) by Roseanna M. White *book review and giveaway*

A Name Unknown (Shadows Over England) by Roseanna M. White
Book 1 of 2 in the Shadows Over England Series

“A Name Unknown” is a story about a thief from London and a gentleman from Cornwall, England. The thief Rosemary is not trying to steal money or books-she is trying to figure out if the gentleman Peter’s alliances is with the German or English.

I liked the historical story line and the characters language and phrases were accurate to the 1900s. The main character Peter stuttered through out the entire book which made it a little hard to read and keep the flow of the conversation, but I still enjoyed the story.

I would recommend this book for anyone that likes to read historical suspense and drama.

(Review written by my 16 year old son) I received a copy of this book complimentary for blog and social media review. All opinions are my own.

About the book:
Rosemary Gresham has no family beyond the band of former urchins that helped her survive as a girl in the mean streets of London. Grown now, they concentrate on stealing high-value items and have learned how to blend into upper-class society. But when Rosemary must determine whether a certain wealthy gentleman is loyal to Britain or to Germany, she is in for the challenge of a lifetime. How does one steal a family’s history, their very name?

Peter Holstein, given his family’s German blood, writes his popular series of adventure novels under a pen name. With European politics boiling and his own neighbors suspicious of him, Peter debates whether it might be best to change his name for good. When Rosemary shows up at his door pretending to be a historian and offering to help him trace his family history, his question might be answered.

But as the two work together and Rosemary sees his gracious reaction to his neighbors’ scornful attacks, she wonders if her assignment is going down the wrong path. Is it too late to help him prove that he’s more than his name?
